The A-Team.... First Official Photo Revealed!!!

So the first official photo for the upcoming A-Team movie has been released, and if I wasn't excited for this movie beforehand, I am now!

So 20th Century Fox looks to be making one of the best tributes/reimaginings I have wanted to see since the Dukes of Hazzard disappointed me to the point of near-suicide. Casting appears to be near-perfect, and the van isn't changing, so it looks like there's very little chance of depression setting in after a 90-minute to 2 hour viewing.

What I like to hear as well, is that the film itself is going to be in the vein of Die Hard, The Bourne Identity and Casino Royale... All three films I am a big fan of.

As I previously mentioned, the casting looks awesome. I know some people may disagree, but I think that very little improvement could be done.

Liam Neeson as Col. John "Hannibal" Smith. I've been a fan of Neeson since Darkman, all the way back in 1990. (Man I am old!) And I am a fan of his acting, he is good at playing everything from Drama to Comedy, and I think that he lends an air of professionalism to the film

Bradley Cooper as Templeton "Faceman" Peck. Cooper is one of the "It-men" right now, very few actors are hotter right now. Cooper is riding a huge wave, following "The Hangover", look to him to be the focus of the film.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as B.A. Baracus: Riding the fame of his UFC career, Jackson will use this hopefully to gain notoriety as an action star. Look for him to be the weak link/wildcard of the film. I'm anxious to see if he can pull off the role that made Mr. T. The icon that he is.

Sharlto Copely as Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock: Copely, another wildcard of the film. His only mainstream exposure was the surprise hit: District 9, which Capt. Campbell thought he was a tool in, but judging that he was supposed to play a tool, shows that he has some serious acting chops. I think that he's going to be the one surprise of the film.

The film also stars Jessica Biel and Patrick Wilson (Of Watchmen fame).

The film is directed by "Smokin' Aces" director, Joe Carnahan and produced by Ridley Scott as well as Series Creator Stephen J. Cannell, and set for a release date of June 11th, 2010.
